Experience Grand Country’s Farm Mini-Golf Course! It will be even better as the kids get older and can do more of the things. Overall I feel like everything was clean, well organized, nice staff, and just what we needed for a quick getaway. My guess is most people head back home that morning but we wanted to torture Bennett ONE more time… You can check out of your room but still be at the waterpark until you are ready to go. My favorite day in the water was today on Sunday because it wasn’t busy at all. We only went to 1 of the shows, The Amazing Pet show and I definately recommend that for the little ones. ![]() I honestly didn’t get that many pics from the weekend as I was really trying to be more unplugged to spend time with the family.ĭespite Bennett not loving the waterpark, we had a really good time. We brought plenty of drinks and snacks from home. There is also a Wal-Mart, Price Chopper and Taco Bell right down the street. With the exception of Jake getting us Krispy Kreme 1 morning & eating across the street at Burger Shack for lunch 1 day, we never left the resort. The water park and outdoor pools, go karts (ages 4+, bumper cars (ages 5+), arcade, outdoor mini golf, indoor 3D black light mini golf, few little shops, a grill by the pool, a buffet (kids UNDER 4 eat free but a bit pricey IMO at $14.50 adults and $7.50 for kids 4+), a pizza place that serves ice cream, laser tag, and the showroom to see all the shows they offer. Literally everything is there at the resort within a short walking distance. So this is a place you stay and never have to leave if you don’t want. Well $H*T.ĭespite the fact of having a stage 5 clinger at the waterpark, it was right up Emmy’s alley. ![]() Emersyn (my 4yr old) LOVES water and the waterpark. I saw the ad on Facebook & took advantage of their summer special which included: 2 night stay, access to the indoor/outdoor water park, mini golf, go kart ride, $10 game card to the arcade & 2 pizzas, and tickets to 2 shows… SOLDģ things about our trip: 1. We opted out of taking our kids to the beach this summer (thanks Covid) so we did multiple small trips instead, making this summer the best we can with the weirdness that is going on in the world right now. ![]() I’ll start with this trip since it’s the freshest in my mind (literally on the road back as my overtired 4 yr old is whining or crying about anything and everything). So I thought I’d share because we’ve had some great luck with our choices this summer and we all need ideas right now right? The whole gang! We spent the weekend with 1 of Jake’s brothers & his family. Where do we take our kids right now during this uncertain time that doesn’t require super long travel? What’s open, following safety protocols & doesn’t cost an arm and a leg? I’ve had multiple questions about our travels this summer.
